Here is part of the assessment that is done by DDD for RHC clients who have
moved to the community.

I do not endorse this assessment – very non-objective with criteria that do not
take into consideration health, safety and quality of life of our most vulnerable
citizens.

This section is very interesting though – but it would be more interesting if we


had the data of psychotropic medication use while living in the RHC. But, even
without that data, there is a significant difference in the use of psychotropic
medications between these two groups.

It makes me wonder if the “community” providers are using psychotropic


restraints on the residents rather than providing adequate supports with people.
