ON THE JOB
Summer analysts participate in an ongoing training program comprised
of classes taught by senior Lazard bankers. Day-to-day activities for
summer associates vary according to each associate’s prior experience
and skills, but are equivalent to those of a full-time associate. In
addition to client-related assignments, summer associates are
encouraged to explore the firm and become acquainted with their
colleagues via both formal and informal mentoring. The firm considers
its summer analysts and associates the primary source for full-time
candidates, typically offering positions to about 80 percent of the class.
