The hurricane was caused when the surface water
of the Caribbean Sea rose to 27 degrees Celsius. The air above the sea was very humid which caused the air to rise and creating an area of very low pressure. The strong winds that were experienced were caused by the air rushing towards the low pressure, taking the place of the rising air. There were very strong convection currants which caused the heavy rain.
