No Scapegoat Necessary God, by His own limitation, cannot act outside of who He is, and creation is an act of God.

Spiritual atonement for sin is a natural law, not an appeasement for an egotistical god. Freedom of choice is a natural law. It can be seriously limited, enforced or directed through laws, violated by an oppressor so that the vulnerable are unable to exercise this freedom. It can be ignored, misunderstood, and even misconstrued. It can sometimes even be predicted, but its existence cannot be refuted. When you understand atonement for sin and freedom of choice as natural laws- part of the DNA of creation, if you will- then you will begin to grasp the extent of Gods love for ALL people, which He demonstrated once for ALL through the atonement He provided for us at His cost. The sacrifice Christ made was for ALL sin, for ALL people, for ALL time. The only requirement from us is acceptance, acknowledgement, and affirmation of the Who, what and why. What is left are the natural consequences of our wrongs against one another and the world we live in. God makes Himself available to help us with this as well, as much as we will allow Him to. God gave us Himself in His word- the bible, and His Word- Christ. In the word/bible we have an appeal to be imitators of The Word/Christ. And the word/Word commands us to love God with our whole heart/motive, soul/will, mind, and body/might; and love your neighbor as yourself. In this appeal, God provides guidance and support for the exercise of our freedom of choice. The choice itself, however, he leaves with us. The natural wrongs or sins of each one of us reach out into the lives of those around us and the world in which we live. Just as love has the power to help and harm, sin has the power to hinder and harm. Who but God can measure or contain the end results of any single action? To search for a scapegoat and claim that one person/people group/event is the cause is ultimately to deny your own existence and influence in this world. Choice creates consequences and we are called to assume response-ability and accountability for ours. This is reality. Breathe in, breathe out. This is reality. If you are searching for a scapegoat, dont hold your breath.
