About the Workshop:

DOEACC Centre Aizawl has

organized One Day Workshop On Perspective of Pedagogy in

technical Institution And Writing Scholarly Articles in journals on 8th June, 2011 at Conference Hall. During the workshop all the faculty members/engineers of DOEACC

Centre, Aizawl were present. The Workshop was meant for all the Faculties/Teacher educators. It is multidisciplinary in dimension. This workshop has rigorous training and practical with reference to many nationally renowned journals.
The workshop was inaugurated by Mr. F. Lalrinawma, Senior Designer (Academic Head). Prof. All S.B. Mohanty, General of and Secretary, Educational India Association (AIAER)

Research

Deputy Secretary (Former) NCTE New Delhi has been invited as chief resource person. Prof. Mohanty has 33 years experience of Teaching and Educational Research. He has authored more than 50

books on Education, Educational Research & English, and 126 research papers / articles in different renowned journals. The workshop had three technical sessions and covered the following topics:y To understand the significance and of pedagogy in technical

Different teaching strategies in higher

education. y y y To enhance the techniques of writing research papers / scholarly articles. To develop writing skills for writing research papers / scholarly articles. To groom teachers / young researchers to publish their work in referred journals. To develop skills for writing references.

The workshop was concluded with group discussion and experimental study of Writing Scholarly Articles in journals.
