Experience Essential Knowledge of issues relating to young people & services available to them Knowledge of benefits for young people Good level of general education Practical experience in support & advice Commitment to delivery of a person centred support for young people. Ability to relate vulnerable young people. Awareness of good practice in supporting young people, including child protection. Ability to work as part of a team. Ability to organise and record workload Ability to work on own initiative Able to work to deadlines under pressure 5. Interpersonal and social skills Good communication skills Ability to work positively and creatively with young people. Good state of general health. Full driving licence & own car Ability to represent project in consultations with other agencies Desirable Knowledge of wider homelessness issues & services Knowledge of housing law
