Kenya

In April 2004, Jamin Mukobero Muchika of Shianda Village in Kakamega District, Kenya, went on a bloody rampage. He slashed his pregnant wife Sussy to death, then murdered all four of his other children, Fanice, Evans, Oscar and Edgar. He also slashed to death his nephew, Aggrey, and his sisters-in-law Hannah and Felistas. He also slashed seven other relatives who survived, including an 82-year-old man, and then tried to commit suicide by swallowing a pesticide. On May 20, 2004, Muchika was charged with ten counts of murder.1
