Time Series Analysis with Matlab

Version 3.00 The TSA toolbox is useful for analyzing (uni- and multivariate, stationary and non-stationary) Time Series. An Introductory tour to Time Series Analysis and the Download site can be found here. It can be used for: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. stochastic signal processing autoregressive model identification matched (inverse) filter design Histogram analysis Calcution of the entropy of a timeseries Non-linear analysis (3rd order statistics) smoothing, prediction, filtering Test for Hurwitz and Unit-Circle Polynomials handles missing values (NaN's)

Several criteria (AIC, BIC, FPE, MDL, SBC, CAT, PHI) for the selection of the order of an autoregressivemodel are included. Furthermore includes the toolbox a fast version ifthe Yule-Walker method for estimating Autoregressive parameters, the AutocovarianceFunction (ACovF), Autocorrelation Function (ACF), Partial ACF (PACF),andsome other useful staff. Demo programs can be started with "demo" or "demotsa". Version 2.40 (and higher) provides fast algorithms for testing polynomials; and many functions (e.g. ACovF and the Levinson-Durbin algorithms) are implemented for multiple series. Latest Version 3.00 11.Dec, 2002. Tested with Matlab 5.2-3, 6.1-5 and Octave 2.0.16-17, 2.1.35-40 refer to: Schlgl, A.; "Time Series Analysis - A toolbox for the use with Matlab", 1996-2002.
