Account Technician

In the summer of 1999 I participated in a summer internship with Sherwin Williams Corporation. I graduated from California State University Chico in December of 1999. After graduation I took a position at Dito Dean Food Prep. I started out in customer service and was quickly promoted to accounts receivable and accounts payable. The past ten years I have spent owning and managing a retail nursery. I managed every aspect of the nursery from customer service to profit/loss and marketing. Being self-employed trained me to be a self-starter and good motivator. I recruited and managed the employee needs for the company. I created a dynamic work environment that required me to be multi-tasking and have a strong work ethic. Within the first three years I raised sales by more than 10% while lowering expenses.
