    STATEMENT OF PURPOSE ALUMNI COMMITTEE

    WHY DO I WANT TO JOIN


    Being a part of MIB is already an honour but to get to represent our college in front of the companies as one of the faces of this college is like a dream come true.The alumni of this college have gone on to make this institution proud and just to be their representation in this new era is a challenge and a huge responsibility albeit one that id love to take up and is one i believe i can suceed at.

    HOW I FIT INTO THE COMMITTEE


    The only thing besides 'INFOSYS' that almost always reaps a reward is 'HARDWORK'. Its nothing but hardwork and determination that the MIB interview committee saw in me that landed me here considering i might just have the worst acads here. Hardwork was also what got me to the position of captain of the JLNS cricket team. Cricket as sport not only taught me leader ship but also to be a team player.Which means adjusting to situations and performing tasks that you would personally not prefer but have to for the team. Being an avid debater and a part of the editorial board in school i have developed into a skilled communicator both verbally and as a writer. Also i have never been the one who follows the 'learn by rote' method.Being adaptive and creative is something i feel more comfortable with.I have always believed theres a better and shorter method out there but it is not to be confused being lazy. Although German military leader Helmut Von Moltke did say "Hire the lazy people they find the smartest and the shortest way to get things done".

    WHAT I BRING TO THE TABLE


    Everything mentioned above plus an abilty to look at things positively.I also believe that the people skills i possess are of utmost importance here .People skills are not defined by the number of facebook friends you have but instead is the ability to put a smile on the face of the person in front of you.A smile goes a long way in helping you pave your path in convincing people.
