Statement of purpose If you dont know where you are going, probably you will attain nowhere.

(An Afghan poet) Since I have realized who I am, I pursued a purpose in my life and that is to get what others dont have or may not know concerning whether it is in the world, underworld or the sky. Many years ago, I had a terrible accident. I was carried to a hospital and was unconscious for a few days. When I became conscious the first thing I saw was an unknown device which showed my heartbeats. After watching the device for some minutes, I thought to myself what is the secret of the starring device that even nurses took a look at and jotted down on their paper? I came to the conclusion that this device might be what I have been in search of since I know who I am. Although I thought computer was a means of entertainment, I realized later that computer is a sort of human and can get the works done better than human in some cases. Being constantly in persuasion of something and being familiarized with new phenomenon, I made my ever-sustaining decision; I had to find what computer is and how it would alter my life. Besides I studied fundamentals of IT getting familiarized with various functions of computer, I found my interest in networking. In order to keep on my studies in the field, taking into consideration difficulties for Afghan emigrants in Iran, I completed advanced networking training there and made my way towards Afghanistan to achieve my ambition. Before coming back to Afghanistan I had held a boot camp course in MCSE for Afghan emigrants in Iran. In addition to learning how to teach, I learnt how one can lead a group of people who have long been in silence in a silent-making country like Iran. According to the four year schedule plan, I decided to do my first project. So I offered the international construction company a new secure and sustainable network design after considering the flows of pervious network. The assignment-based projects I worked on in second year guided me in the way of innovation required for well and highly-structured implementation of a project and I had the opportunity to actually apply what I had learnt. I always felt that there were many flaws in computer industry of Afghanistan and, time and time, it made me envy the students living in developed countries and strongly drove me take action. In order to approach my goal I invited a couple of best students within the faculty and then founded a union abbreviated ITDU (Information technology Developers Union for Afghanistan). Our shared purpose was and is to develop IT industry in Afghanistan. By establishing this union, we had completed many projects like creating closet circuit system for monitoring, developing secure Networks. As we know the administrative system of our government is corrupted and needs to be transformed. Since computer industry has revolutionized most of developed countries, undoubtedly, I believe that they can bring a revolution in Afghanistan as well. I have an idea how to get this suggestion done based on my experience and knowledge. Supposing our government as a central point, under the power of computer networking, that is, if we join all ministries databases controlled by state, we can monitor all deeply corrupted ministries and their operations. Included in reports and private data, this system would have new characteristics by which all ministries could be monitored separately. By this system managers and ministers can evaluate performances of their staffs and can identify who is the best in his/her work. Such system can hold remote video meeting between ministers and president without taking any risk and many 1

other features are available. Unfortunately, we were not warmly welcomed by the ministry of communications and Information Technology, but I did not stop endeavoring because the power of youth is the power of wind and if they gathered, they can create storm. During my third and fourth years of studies, I wrote many articles about IT such as: Afghanistan and IT, a critical article on weaknesses of communications in AF, in a widely-read newspaper Asr-eGoftogo and Rah-e-Nejat. To involve deeply and get first hand information for myself and for any other enthusiasts, I also translated a book titled CompTIA network+ certification by Glen E. clark/ McGraw-Hill. Since no one had ever published any books about networking in Persian in Afghanistan, I wanted to be the first. I developed an online library management system (OLMS) for the most known private university Kateb as my seventh semester of study project accompanying my teamwork. This project has given me insight teamwork and I learnt a lot of practical programming tips and pushed me to challenge my programming skills with other competitors. Finally, with best performance of our application, we won and were appreciated by Kateb professors. Currently, I am working on the educational and financial management system which can enable me to work with enthusiasm in programming. This project will help universities manage their students statistics and tackle their current problems. As our curriculum is a falsified version of Japanese curriculum, studying in Japan would be a great opportunity not only to understand her curriculum but also grab new ideas. With opportunity to study in Japan, I will realize my potentials and capacity ever further more. Endless study choices, offering top-notch education programs, expert professors, invaluable experiences I would gain from this study, are the advantages letting me maximize my true potential and gain experiences that are important in marketing world. In addition, the knowledge and experiences I acquire during campus life are worth as much as the education itself. Japan, taking into consideration its highly academic universities, academic environment and diversified land, is one of the best countries in the world and I am sure by studying there in the field of Information and Communication Engineering, I can develop my capacity and career in Afghanistan.
