DEFINITION:
Integrity is a value, like persistence, courage and industriousness. Even more than that, it is the value that guarantees all the other values. You are a good person to the degree to which you live your life consistent with the highest values that you espouse. Integrity is the quality that locks in your values and causes you to live consistent with them.

TYPES OF INTEGRITY

1) Integrity towards Allah. 2) Integrity with ourselves. 3) Integrity toward other people.

Integrity towards Allah

This is the very essential type of integrity. People who obey Allah's teachings and be honest towards everyone because of fear of Allah.

Integrity with ourselves

Integrity with ourselves - this is where integrity begins, for if we cannot be honest with ourselves, we cannot be honest with anyone else.

Integrity towards others

Integrity towards others - this type of integrity growing out of integrity with Allah and ourselves. We should be honest with all other people, the young or the eldest. If we want others to be honest to us, then we should be honest to others first.
