The world has apparently changed.

Our planet which was once a paradise now houses highly polluted cities, dead fishes, and endangered animals. The global average temperature has remarkably increased posing a great danger to the entire world. Sea level is continually rising making some islands be rubbed out from the world map. Others say this is a natural cycle. However, it is now obvious that we are the ones killing our own planet. We have abused our resources thinking they are limitless. We have converted the trees into houses and furniture. Now, we complain against landslides and flashfloods not knowing we, ourselves, are contributors to the catastrophe. The blame is obviously on us. Today, ladies and gentlemen, we are sharing with the advocacy of the Department of Education in particular and of the entire nation in general. This program signifies our commitment to restore our planet. On behalf of our School Principal, I am extending my warmest congratulations to the Technology and Livelihood Department for spearheading this meaningful activity. Truly, if we will be working hand-in-hand, we will be able to achieve our vision of making this world a better place. To the students, may this program serve as an eye-opener for you to realize the value of both our physical and social environment. The steps you are about to undertake will bring a great impact to your future and the future of your children and grandchildren. Be the change you want to see in the world! To our local government officials, may this activity generate ordinances and immediate actions for us to save our community and the entire planet. We are counting on you and you can be assured that we will also be doing our part. Again, on behalf of the School Principal and of the entire Bautista National High School Family, I welcome you this years local celebration of the National Greening Program. Thank you and may we be the agents of change!
