sit with sit ters. What God does, He does through us, in our action. If anybody does nothing, God d oes nothing with them. Those eternally seeking the will of God are overrun by those who DO the will of G od. The ABC of FAITH is that as we act, God acts. God has a thousand-year calendar with only one day marked on it. It is marked AY . We never do great things without trying. Praying for God to work is fine, but praying for Him to do what we should be doin g is pointless. We are to Plunder Hell to Populate Heaven for Calvary s sake! I can t purr like a cat when millions are perishing everyday lion! I want to roar like a TOD

We cannot expect divine revelation to be what we imagine; if it was, there would be no need of divine revelation at all. The Bible knows nothing about air in a jar, only wind in motion. It knows nothin g about the Holy Spirit except in action, in manifestation. The first disciples received power but never returned to the Upper Room for r Pentecost . We do not read they had prayer retreats to recover power. There is no such thing as another Pentecost . The Holy Spirit comes to stay. anothe

Jesus showed us how he lived as the Son of Man so that we would know how to live as the children of God. Don t plan with what is in your pocket; plan with what is in God s pocket. Go for the purposes of God, and the means to fulfill them will follow. I don t want to play with marbles when God told me to move mountains!

Faith is a kind of immune system filtering out fears that otherwise would paralyz e all activity. Don t accept the applause of men, and you won t be destroyed by their criticism. I prayed and I fasted and said, Lord, this cannot be it. this cannot be the only e ffect of the glorious gospel. There must be more. Plunder hell to populate Heaven! Jesus said, You shall receive power. He said it, and it must happen.

People say they re waiting for God. Since the day of Pentecost, the light turned gr een, and Jesus says go and preach!

Once you ve been dipped in the river of fire, you will be a fire-man. Fire will be all over you. Fire will be dripping off of you. The Gospel is a gospel of power or it is nothing at all. When you are on fire, no demon will touch you because he know he will get burned. Flies like to sit on a cold stone. If you want an evangelist to fail, have him preach to a room full of Christians. Jesus said he will make us fishers of men, evangelists. You must desire the fire, and claim you flame! When you do business with people, you need money. When you do business with God, you need faith. Faith is the currency of Heaven. If you want the power of God, Jesus says, ll receive. Only believe. If you only believe, you wi

In John 14:16 Jesus has asked the Father to give you the Holy Spirit. Jesus gets what he asks for. That is why you receive, not because you ask, but because Jesu s asked. If you are doing nothing, God doesn t need to give you any help in doing nothing. G o out and do something impossible for Jesus, and then God will help you. God says that, My word in your mouth is as powerful as my word in my mouth, the po wer is in the word! The Holy Spirit is a healing spirit. When the Holy Spirit is present, anything is possible. Faith compels God to act. Jesus finds faith irresistible. Faith can compel God to act early, ahead of the planned time. You can compel him to act on your behalf. If you want to receive, you ve got to expect something. If God is moving, you ve got to do something. You ve got to respond. When Jesus sees a heart that can t wait, He cant wait either. At the wedding at Can a, Jesus may have done nothing if it wasn t for Mary s faith. How many situations ar e we in now that God won t act without our faith? If you will respond to His word, He will respond to you. Anyone can believe when God is already moving. But real faith is when you step ou t when it seems that God is not moving. Faith is the vital principle of prayer. So, once we have believed, can we stop praying, and just leave it at that? Does praying the prayer of faith mean that we move on and not bother any more? Is it not a sign of unbelief to pray again? The answer is that faith is not something that you switch on for five minutes when you make a request to God. The prayer of faith sets up a faith-situation. You are standing before God. you stay in that situation or relationship until the prayer is finally answered. Prayer is faith in action. The book of James picks out two Bible episodes as gr eat examples of persistently believing and praying. But look first at what Jame s 5:11, 17-18 says:

"You have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord - that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful. Elijah...prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heavens gave rain." James 5:7-8 speaks of the need for patient faith. 'Therefore be patient, brethr en, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fru it of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain. You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.' God always hears prayer. He cannot make it obvious, but He hears every time we move our lips. He cannot send us an acknowledgment, such as, 'Your prayer is he ard, and is receiving attention.' It may seem that He is not listening, or doin g anything. We shall 'cry out day and night to Him,' as Jesus says, but we shou ld not display ordinary confidence in Him not to let us down. Healings do not t ake place when people have to crank up their faith to spark off a brief flash, o r when faith flops into the healing service half dead. People come who are sick and have prayed, but have not been healed. God has hea rd their prayers, but is waiting for a real live link of faith to connect to His power. The Lord chooses whom He wills to provide that link. Healing follows, not always through the evangelist's prayers, bu the prayers that God has already heard. This is how the Gifts of Healings operate. God does nothing without prayer. Wh en our voice has reached His ears, God looks for someone to carry that healing t o whoever needs it. That is the only 'gift of healing' mentioned in Scripture. It is the gift of healing to the sick person, conveyed from God through ministe ring hands. An evangelist, for example, becomes His errand boy, somebody with f aith to say, 'Here is the healing for which you asked God, He has sent me with i t.'
