The most dangerous game: -Suspense story, which means limited information on the characters and locations -Theme of the story: fear. The character, Rainsford, is very macho in his realistic manner to think. At one point of the story, he fears about pain and death. -General Zaroff doesnt fear because he is used to hunt and he is just happy to have a new person to hunt. -General Zaroffs description: Dark face, black eyes, vivid white hair, tall and aristocrat face. - In the dinning room, Zaroff reticulates a lot of fear to others. He isnt surprised of learning that hell hunt someone down. Rainsford cant believe it when he learns that he in fact kills the people. Will he survive to the game? He fears about the situation. - Rainsford realises that the large animal Zaroff actually hunts is the human. -The game: hide in the forest during 3 days. If he dies, he loses; if he survives, he wins. -When people arrive on the island, there is a lot of suspense and mystery. As well, locations reticulate a lot of blackness and moonless superstition. - Ivan: dumb assistant of Zaroff. He dies to one of Raisnfords traps. - Rainsford has no pity for wild beasts nor does he feel for their pain Beware of the dog: -Pilot who has a problem with his plane and should land near London, but crashes and evacuate from it and lands in a wood. -Luckily survivor, wakes up in a hospital -Actions are very precise and seem so close -The plot happens fast: the plane is going down and needs to think fast to survive. -Needs to give a combat report since he was on a misson, but didnt finish it. - Peter Williamson is flying a Spitfire, or battle plane used in World War II. - As he continues to think about what he is going to say and do when he lands, he decides not to call the blood wagon. As he tries to read the hundreds, he fails at his attempt. -With some pain and difficulty he manages to make it to the window and looks outside. There seems to be nothing out of the ordinary but out of the corner of his eyes, he sees a sign that says, 'Garde Au Chien', as he repeats it in his head, he realizes it says, 'Beware of the Dog' and he realizes it is in French. He is in France.
