The standard install of Revit 2008 MEP has the largest pipe size of 24.

The settings for this are:

Pipe sizes are determined by an xml file that is stored in C:\Program Files\Revit MEP 2008\Program\PipeSizes.xml

When opened in xmlspy, the structure of this file looks like this

probably need to work on Ts and elbows, but for now we have a pipe that is 48 wide carbon steel.
