About the Learning Centre

The Learning Centre was established as an education organisation, which is also a charity, provides quality training and work experience opportunities in Information Technology, Business Administration and Childcare for learners. The Companys Mission is: With employers to develop programmes suited to their particular needs The Learning Centre is an accredited centre with OCN, OCR, CACHE and EDI recognition by the QCA (Qualifications Curriculum Authority). The following programmes are presently offered: NVQs in information technology, Business Administration and Childcare levels 2 and 3.

Aim of work experience placements

The aim of work experience: 1. To enable Employers to eliminate the skills shortage they face, on either a temporary or permanent basis. 2. For Employers to have a major stakehold in the companys on and off-the-job training programmes. 3. For Employers to give the learners opportunities to demonstrate the skills and knowledge acquired in a real working environment through the provision of work experience placements.
