Date: 9/29/2011 Case #: R11-10521 Author ID: Det. Sgt. DK

Image of Armed Robbery Suspect inside 7-11 2600 S. Harlem Avenue

On Thursday September 29, 2011 at 12:03 AM the above suspect entered the 7-11 located at 2600 S. Harlem Avenue in Riverside and committed an armed robbery using a very large bladed kitchen knife and made off with $60 to $80 in USC. During the robbery there was a customer standing at the counter making a purchase who left the scene after the robbery. The clothing description for the robber is as follows: Black bandana worn on head, blue bandana worn over face, dark colored jacket with an unknown patch on the right arm of the jacket, black cargo style pants and black shoes. The clerk stated that the suspect was a male black but the race cannout be determined from the above image or the rest of the security video. The subject is also wearing a white glove on his left hand and a black glove on his right hand. The subject appears to have a shaved head with short hair. The different types of gloves worn are similar to an armed robbery at the same location that occurred on October 5, 2010. We will attempt to have the video enhanced to provide a clearer image of the patch on the right sleeve of the jacket. If any agency has additional information or needs additional information please contact Detective Sergeant Krull #S2 at the below contact number or at dkrull@riverside.il.us.
