By now, you should know your addition and subtraction facts (if not, be sure you are practicing them). Your daily homework assignments are listed below! Be sure to do your best! You are on your way to making a Multiplication Table Touchdown! You will be given a factor to study each week! Day 1: Write the facts 3x each...using the fact of the week. Day 2: Paste a 100s chart into your book, skip count by the factor to find all of the multiples. Then, list the multiples in a column. Now, write about the patterns youve found. Day 3: First, draw all of the possible arrays of the factor of the week. Now, list all of the fact families for the factor of the week. Day 4: Write 2 story problems related to the factor of the week. First, write a multiplication story problem. Solve the problem using pictures, numbers or words. Explain how you solved it. Now, write a division story problem, solve it, and explain it!

Division Story Problem Julie had 36 jelly beans. She shared them among 12 friends. How many jelly beans did each friend get?

I know that 12 x 2 = 24 and 12 x 1 = 12. 12 x 3 = 36 This means that 36 12 = 3. I used clusters to help me solve this problem. Julie gave each friend 3 jelly beans.
