i m selected in HCL tech 2.6 lpa noida
i m sending u the paper of hcl in mnrec on 28th july 2001.
PROFILE:
they divide the campus in 2 streams.
1.TECHNICAL(2papers 1 of tech.,1 of apptitude, 1 program in c to write)
2.6 lpa
2.APPTITUDE.(only 1 paper of aptitude)2.4 lpa

u can sit only in 1 of them.

before appearing to test u hv to select , u want to go in which stream

aptitude paper is same in both.

in tech. there is 2 papers.

1 of tech. which contains

15 ques. of computer fundamentals(contains probs of database etc,it
seems tough to me)
& 30 of C&C++.QUES. R FROM "EXPLORING C" BY kanitkar.& mainly based on
arrays
& structure,macros etc (45 prob ,30 minuts)

2nd paper was the one given to both r same.

the prog was "circular queue in c"

most imp: if u opt tech. then they give high preference to the "good
prog"
the shortlist is on the basis of rank in written & then the prog.

interview:
technology:
good tech. interview, on the program also(what u hv written),data
structure
,artea of interest.

application:
interview in this part is easy, also contain tech.questions.
