Our drive continues from October 3-31. Thanks for all you do. Reading to Learn In third and fourth grade, students continue to learn to read, but the focus now changes to reading to learn. As the year continues, students will continue using their good reader skills. Many parents have asked, How can I help my child become a better reader at home? On our class Blog under the Parent Link, I have placed a picture of what we, as a fourth grade team, will be teaching our students to practice and do AS they read. I encourage students to continue this in a reading journal at home or through discussion with a brother or sister. Talking and thinking about reading is so helpful.

Whats New? The September Character Trait is SELF-CONTROL.
