Teaching Ethics for Good Business Behaviour
Conducting business in an ethical manner is often perceived
as a preserve for large cooperations or registered companies.
The disintegration of cooperate governance in 2 number of
companies prompted us to teach our participants the
importance of good business behaviour. Through discussions
androle-plays the importance of ethics was taught. Ethicsis an
issue of the heart and while we conscientised them on this, the
‘onlus was on them to take up this challenge,
Measuring results
Acode of conduct governing their activities and customer

saw an opportunity 16
make a difference in disadvantaged
youths thus we targeted 40 rehabilitated street
children, where we saw itfit to instil within them a sense of hope
and purpose for their lives. With this community group we saw
the need to teach, possibility for creating new learning
‘opportunities through imparting al the four pillars of SIFE. The
Dream Big module was thus created to impart the said
principles.
Dream Big
In this module through discussion the youths aged between 7
and 19 were stimulated to envision what they woul like to do
after completing their academic studies. It was demonstrated
how there outrageous and creative ideas can be tured into a
business. Itwas illustrated how one can make a product using
scrap pieces of materials by Scm and sellit profitably. Through,
the dream big module these youths began envisioning their
individual success. To begin the road to success we introduced
them to the concept of entrepreneurship. The youths were
taught how to generate a business idea
After generating @ business
