Dear YA Parents, Welcome to the November installment of the parent newsletter.

We will try to keep you up to date with everything happening here at Yeshiva. Of course, if you still have questions, please feel encouraged to get in touch for more details. You should receive your childs fall semester midterm grade via RenWeb by the middle of November, so please be on the lookout for that. In an effort to streamline communications, we will list community events and service opportunities on the Community News page of our website. This can be found under Useful Links or by directly accessing http://www.yeshivaatlanta.org/community-news.html Please check regularly for relevant opportunities. School Lunch Program: Elegant Essens Lunch Program continues. Orders must be placed by noon the preceding Friday. Ordering information and menus are available via RenWeb. Our Lunch and Learn program will continue the first and third Mondays of each month, from noon until 1 pm in the Media Center. This month they will be November 7 and November 21. Please like Yeshiva Atlanta High School on Facebook and follow us on Twitter (@YeshivaAtlanta). PTSA Corner PTSA has had a busy fall season. Our annual used book sale was a great success thanks to all of your support. You should have received your commission check by now if you earned it. Parents earned almost $1700 in commissions! Our honey sale was also a success. Thanks to all for supporting the sale and the "worker bees" that made it happen, Barbara and Joe Asher, Rhondda May, Marcy Kalnitz, Diana Yusopov, Rafael Harpaz, Talia Harpaz, Ethne Freedberg, Julie Weinmann, Jennifer Lubinsky, Shira Lubinsky and Ari Solomon. Please show your appreciation to the stores who sold the honey for us by patronizing them. Stores make no profit and do it only to support the school. Our outlets this year were Kosher Gourmet, Broadway Cafe, Judaica Corner, Chosen Treasures, OU for U, Moshe's Mediterranean Cuisine, Goodfriend's Grill and Fuego Mundo. Thanks to fundraisers and your support PTSA was able to make several purchases at the beginning of this year to enhance the students' educational experience. PTSA provided

for a new analytical balance, spectrophotometer and digital microscopes for the science program, a color scanner for strategic learning, TI software for the math department and the Bar Ilan program for the Judaics program. Thanks you to the Brasch family for sponsoring treats for the last Rosh Chodesh in honor of Ben's birthday. If you would like to sponsor Rosh Chodesh in honor of an occasion, contact Sharon Fleitman, sharonrf18@gmail.com or 770-713-3128. The next opportunity is October 28.
