    UltraTech's AP Cement Works (APCW) plant in Tadipatri, Andhra Pradesh was originally commissioned in 1998 with a capacity of 2.0 million tonnes per annum (MTPA). Over six years, improvements were made to upgrade capacity to 2.7 MTPA. Recently, a further expansion increased capacity to 6.1 MTPA, making it one of the largest single-location cement plants in India. To reduce heat consumption, APCW adopted measures such as consistent kiln operation, monitoring flame shape and preheater temperatures, cleaning burner tips, optimizing coal mill residues, and adjusting the raw mix chemistry.

    AP Cement Works (APCW), Tadipatri located in Andhra Pradesh with an installed Capacity of 2.0 MTPA was commissioned in April1998 and was upgraded to 2.7 MTPA over a period of six years through several improvements / modifications. The plant was expanded by adding another 3.4 MTPA to its existing capacity (recently commissioned) and is considered as one of the largest capacity plant at a single location in India.
