Hashish What does it look like: A dark thick and sticky liquid/resin Active ingredients: It is made from the

resin of the cannabis plant and the active chemical is delta-9-tetra-hydro-cannabino also known as THC which comes from the leaves. Different ways in which it can be used: Hashish can be smoked or eating by mixing with food eg. a brownie. Effects on the user: Immediate effects: Hashish causes a feeling of Euphoria(when you feel very happy) This is described to be feeling high The user becomes very relaxed and thoughts may be cloudy. If taken in large amounts it can also cause hallucinations and very abnormal behaviour. Long Term: Hashish is not very harmful in the long term but can cause psychological addiction. Category of the drug: Hashish can be classified as both a upper and a hallucinogen. When taken in small portions it merely causes euphoria, but large amounts can cause hallucinations. Why this drug is addictive: This drug causes psychological addiction Althought the drug is not physically addictive lots of people develop a psychological addiction because they use it for very long and become so used to it.
