    Boost Converter

    A boost converter is also known as step-up converter. The main Iunction oI boost
    converter is to get an input voltage lower than the output voltage. In terms oI current in boost
    converter, input current is higher than the output current. Boost converter is widely used to
    reduce the number oI battery cells. It can increase the voltage and save lot oI space. Stacking oI
    cells is not possible in many high voltage applications due to insuIIicient space.
