Terminal velocity- The time when an object falls at a constant speed.
Free Fall-When no other forces are acting upon an object.
Projectile Motion-Curved path an object follows when thrown or propelled near the Earth.
Inertia-Tendency of all objects to stay in motion.
Momentum-Property of a moving object that depends on the object’s mass and velocity.

Pressure-Force exerted upon a certain area.
Atmospheric pressure-Pressure caused by the weight of atmosphere.
Density-Amount of matter in a certain object.
Pascal’s Principle-Pressure in one area of a liquid is equally transmitted in a fluid.
Buoyant force-Upward force exerted on all matter.
Archimedes Principle- States the buoyant force on an object in a fluid is an upward force equal to the weight
of the volume of the liquid the object displaces.
Bernoulli’s Principle- Speed of a moving fluid increases as pressure decreases.
Thrust-Forward force produced by amount of engine of a plane.
Drag- Force opposing the motion through the fluid.

2. Due to freefall they have less weight while orbiting.
3. 2 motions form orbiting in a circular path. Gravity pulls down as the shuttle goes forward.

1. The pressure inside the straw is lower so the liquid will go up because the pressure outside is higher.
2. States that the pressure on side will be exerted through out the whole thing.

1. The forces on the inside act against the outside, which creates different amounts causing the buoyant force
and also the ability to float.
