Silent.Weak.Slow.Unfortunate.Thesewerethewordsthrownatmebymyteacherinpreschoolduring mynurseryyears.ShetoldmyparentsthatIhadnowayofpassingandgettingintoagoodschooland startattendingkindergarten.Icouldevenstillvividlyrememberhershorthair,roundface,chinitaeyes andhoarsevoice,angrilylookingandshoutingatme.Indeed,Iwasadepressedandanillfatedchild, butthroughmyparentsloveandsupport,theycontinuedtoencouragemetostudyharderandprove everyonewrong,thatIwasnottobesteppedon;thatIwoulddowellinmystudies.
