‘Dear Mr. Richards:
[searched the Texas Administrative Code, the compilation of all state agency rules, and found
no traffic citation forms
Enclosed please find a copy of the Texas Department of Public Safety's rule under Title 37,
Chapter 16 Commercial Drivers License, §16.100. Information on Trafic Cuations ‘According
to the Department of Public Safety, §16.100 is the “traffic citation” used by police departments
Tas DPS rold sme that there is no particular form used by all police departments. However,
£1600 indicates thatthe form used must include the information listed in paragraphs (1)-(6)- In
Sther words, each police department can have its own traffic citation form.
Thope this answers your question satisfactorily.
