Integration Planning Sheet

General Education Teachers, This November will mark the beginning of our integration planning talks. Each general education classroom will accommodate two to three integrated students from our special education program. Students with the highest need for additional support will be accompanied by one adult assistant. *Please note that numbers for the special education programs have increased and we will be accommodating larger numbers of students. Thank you for your continuous support and flexibility. Students mainstreamed into your general education classroom will be provided with their own materials (i.e. crayons, scissors, glue stick, pencils, erasers, mainstream folder with goals and communication sheets). As we assign you to your students, we can further discuss our focus areas for each child and our responsibilities in our own communication. Mainstream duration will begin with 20-30 minutes per day and increment to maximum time, as recommended in individual education plans.
