Lincolns Column Tells the Truth

THE LINCOLN TIMES-NEWS EDITOR REFUSES TO PERFORM THE DUTY OF THE FREE PRESS AS DETAILED BY THE SUPREME COURT OF THE UNITED STATES. This column is being mailed to inform you of flagrant violations of your Constitutions by your Federal and State governments. Thomas Jefferson said: "The only security of all is in a free press. The force of public opinion cannot be resisted when permitted freely to be expressed. The agitation it produces must be submitted to. It is necessary, to keep the waters pure." ME 15:491 On Feb 16, 2011, 36 NC citizens brought an action in Lincolnton against Wells Fargo and their Attorneys, ROBINSON BRADSHAW & HINSON, (RB&H) for violating the Constitution and Laws of NC. The filing and nature of the case was discussed with the Editor of the Lincoln Times-News, who expressed no interest. Thereafter, RB&H moved, under NC Rule of Procedure 12 (b) (6), to dismiss the case with prejudice. A politically elected Judge from Mecklenburg unlawfully denied the people a jury trial and dismissed their action. The Judge and RB&H know the NC Constitution states the people have a sacred and inviolable right to a jury trial that cannot be denied by a rule of procedure. Instead of obeying their Oaths and enforcing the Constitution, they chose to violate them. The NC Court of appeals will soon decide to support your rights or violate them. The Lincoln Times had a duty to inform the people of the unlawful actions of the Lawyers and Court created by the freedom given it as follows: In the First Amendment, the Founding Fathers gave the free press the protection it must have to fulfill its essential role in our democracy. The press was to serve the governed, not the governors. The Governments power to censor the press was abolished so that the press would remain forever free to censure the Government. The press was protected so that it could bare the secrets of government and inform the people. Only a free and unrestrained press can effectively expose deception in government. And paramount among the responsibilities of a free press is the duty to prevent any part of the government from deceiving the people. Justice Black. NYT v. US. 403 US 713 After the Lincoln Times refused to inform the people, Lincoln Reports advertised in it under the heading: THE GOVERNMENT OF NORTH CAROLINA NOW REPRESENTS THE INTEREST OF BANKING AND OTHER SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS, NOT THE PEOPLE. After the next ad was ready to run, the Editor of the Lincoln-Times sent the undersigned an E-mail stating: The text of your advertising under Lincolns Report in the Lincoln Times-News has come under the scrutiny of our editorial board and after serious discussion we have decided to eliminate any further advertising from you, beginning with what was set to appear in our Nov. 4 edition..So, for all of these reasons, in our judicious exercise of our right to operate a free press, we have therefore elected to reject your advertising submissions. Future columns will stress why local independent papers are now essential to report unlawful government activities because major media outlets are owned by Corporations controlling our governments. They will be mailed to local independent NC Papers. Support and subscribe to your local. independent papers who keep you informed about what our government has done, is doing and what the future of America will be if the people are not informed.
