1. An experimentwas conducted by a group of students to study the effect of air movement


on the rate oftranspiration of a balsam shoot by usinga potometer as shown in figure 1.1

An electric fan was used to produce different speed of air movement. P was the initial
positionof air bubble before the electric fan was switched on.
Sebuah kipas elektrik. telah digunakan umuk menghasilkan kadarpergerakan udarayang

herlainan. P ialah kedudukan asal gelembung udara sebelum kipas elektrik dihidupkan.

When the electric fan was switched on at speed 1. with the help of air movement transpiration

occur. The air bubble moved from P to Q after five minutes.

2 Competition is an interaction between organisms which live together in a habitat and
compete for the same resources that are in limited supply. The competition between
