    American Culture
    The United States of America is a very big country! There are many parts of our culture with no state being the same!

    American symbols
    The Eagle our national bird

    Our flag!

    Statue of Liberty in New York City

    Famous & Beautiful places in America

    New York City, Grand Canyon, and Hawaii

    We have the great open outdoors and mountains but also big cities like Los Angeles where Hollywood is at.

    Our people come from everywhere!

    In America we have people from lots of different countries so its hard to describe American culture we have many cultures here all blended together!

    For example in our class


    We have people of many different backgrounds. Our families come from many different places! Our backgrounds range from:
    Asia (China) African American Native American Ancestors from Europe

    But we are all Americans!


    We are very lucky to have so many cultures in America!

    Our teacher also has family from Laos!


    We are very interested in Laos because Ms. Brunsons mom came to America after the Vietnam war. Her whole family still lives in Vientiane, Laos. Here are pictures of her family!

    We live in the state of Texas

    Texas is known for its barbeque meat and has lots of ranches. People think of cowboys when they think of Texas!
