MINDSHARP POSITION DESCRIPTION INTERVIEW PROCESS DESCRIPTION

POSITION TITLE: REPORTS TO: FLSA STATUS: PURPOSE:

Business Analyst Intern CONTROLLER NON-EXEMPT, PART-TIME

In support of goals, objectives, policies established by the Chief Executive Officer and the Controller, the Business Analyst Intern performs the following duties personally and in cooperation with other Business Analyst Interns, the CRM Manager and the Controller: Verify, clean and mature Mindsharps customer and competitor information in Mindsharps CRM and Accounting systems. All job responsibilities are to be performed in strict adherence with the Companys Mission and Values.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Research account information to ensure it is input accurately in both the CRM and accounting systems. Correct wrong information as needed. 2. Open previously closed opportunities in CRM and relate those opportunities to the proper account in CRM 3. Re-enter customer information in both systems to ensure it is accurate 4. Research primary and secondary contacts to ensure their public and professional information is accurately entered into our CRM and Accounting systems 5. Build basic financial reports on each customer, based on updated account information 6. Make recommendations on follow-up with customers to Vice President of Sales 7. Research Mindsharp competitors, developing competitive analyses for Mindsharps most significant competitors 8. Build business and financial competitive models by reverse engineering public information on our competitors 9. Other duties as assigned

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
y The position reports directly to the Controller, with consistent communication with the CRM Manager and the Chief Executive Officer

REQUIRED SKILLS EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:


y y y y y Proficient in the use of Microsoft 2010 Office Technologies Proficient in the use of social media Must be a Junior in college or higher Must be enrolled in the business management or finance major or equivalent in your college Must hold a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher

TIME AND ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS y Minimum 10 hours/week work must be performed onsite in Maple Grove, MN during normal business hours. y Each intern will be required to sit through a 2-day course on the use of Microsoft CRM at no expense to the intern. The CRM course will be taught on March 17-18. In person attendance is required. y Each intern will be required to sit through computer-based training on SharePoint 2010, consisting roughly of 15 hours of education, to be completed by the end of May, 2012. y Project work will continue until the project is completed. We anticipate the project will be completed in the August time frame of 2012. Summer interns will have the option of working full-time. y Pay is $12-15/hour. y No benefits are offered with this internship INTERVIEW PROCESS 1. 2. An informational meeting will be held on Thursday night, February 2nd, 6:00PM at the Mindsharp offices. After your resume is received, you will be sent additional instructions about this meeting and the interview process. Attendance is required. 3. We plan to have all interns hired by the end of February with work starting in the midMarch timeframe. This position description and interview process description is intended to provide guidelines for job expectations and the employees ability to perform the position described.
