Subject: Gudsnee Concerhing Coy Voting When An Absntee Ballot Hos Not Seen Received
Good afternoon,
On behalf of Madame Secretary of State Mary Herrera, | am sending
guidance concerning absentee voting by voters who wish to vote early if
they have not received their absentee ballots:
Voters who have applied for an absentee ballot and to whom an
absentee ballot has been mailed but who have not yet received it, are to
be allowed to vote in the following manner:
They must execute, in the County Clerk's office, or at an alternate voting
te, an affidavit stating they have not received nor voted their absente
ballot.
™ They are then to be issued a rep!
cement absentee ballot.
™ They can then vote their replacement absentee ballot as if they were
voting the one which had been mailed to them.
Voters can do this on any day between now and 5:00 p.m. on Monday,
November 3.
Attached for your convenience in both PDF and Word format, is a form of
affidavit that can be copied and used for the process of allowing the
voting of replacement absentee ballots.
