Intertek Utama Services laboratories have been providing analytical services in Indonesia since 1993. We currently operate Minerals, Petroleum and Environmental laboratories in Cilandak, Jakarta, two Coal laboratories (Samarinda and Banjarbaru), three mine site laboratories (Batu Hijau, Gosowong & Wetar Island) and seven sample preparation facilities across Indonesia. We are supported by our local survey company, Pt Citra Buana Indoloka and we also have support from Intertek Singapore who operate one of the largest specialist Petroleum laboratories in the region. The Jakarta Laboratory facility holds ISO 17025 accreditation for its Mineral, Environmental and Petroleum divisions as do Samarinda and Batu Hijau with Gosowong and Banjarbaru pending. We have almost 400 staff with some 15% graduates and many with 10-15 years experience with us. .

We are independent of any mining, exploration and industrial firms, and have a rigorous compliance program to ensure that all our employees operate professionally and ethically.

PETROLEUM Reservoir Fluids Services Reservoir fluid analysis is essential for simulation of reservoir production. Since representative samples are vital for accurate analysis, we can design sampling procedures, as well as providing field sampling services, to ensure reliable data. Once the samples are secured, our state-of-the-art laboratory can perform analyses at pressures up to 10,000psi and temperatures up to 360F on black oils, volatile oils, condensates, and brines.
