PROJECT PROFILE:

TITLE : Design and Fabrication of Automatic Jack.

DESCRIPTION:

The above project was pursued as a part of the curriculum. It aims at automating an
existing screw jack by using kinematic links. A DC motor is used whose speed is reduced by
using a reduction gear. An L link is connected to the gear. A connecting rod connects the L link
and the arm of the screw jack so that the rotary motion is converted to the actuating mechanism
that is required to lift the vehicle using screw jack. By doing so manual lifting can be eliminated.
