What do you find to be the most attractive aspect of this religion? Why? I like the teaching of Confucius and his point of view of life and many aspects of it. Confucianism is considered by the followers as a way of life rather than a religion. 2. What element of this religion is farthest from your own religious experience? Why? Confucianism differs from the LDS religion in that is not considered a religion per se and does not involve any rituals and religious traditions. Confucianism is a way of thinking and a way if teachings how to live life according to certain rules and norms. 3. What element of this religion is most like something within your own religion? Why? I think that the idea of the material world being non important assimilates the LDS perspective of the importance of the well-being of the spirit. These two religion share to a certain point the principle that the spirit exist and it is the most important thing that we need to be taking care of. 4. Is God working within this religion? If yes, how? If no, why not? Confucianism teaches people to live an honest life following the teachings of Confucius and value and norms that derive from these teachings. In this aspect God is working within this religion in preparing and teaching His people good values and practices that should govern our lives. 5. Overall, how would you evaluate this film? Why? I found this film very informative and illustrative. The interviews that are found in the film were very helpful in understanding certain aspects of the Confucianism. The images and the representation of certain rituals and traditions did a good job at portraying the different symbols and principles associated with Confucianism. DATE VIEWED:
