Operating Principle:

AC, HPSV lamps will switch ON and switch OFF automatically with the help of timer. Emergency DC lights will switch ON in the event of failure of AC supply. Hence, suitable circuitry with auto changeover facility shall be provided with DC contactor which will switch ON emergency DC lights in case of AC supply failure during nights only. Necessary interlock with timer shall be provided so that Emergency lights will not switch on in case of AC power failure during day time. Please note that 110V DC will be made available at site for emergency lights and hence AC to DC convertor need not be considered in the scope. The requirement of components /accessories shall not be limited to the list but shall be complete for control of switch yard lighting with auto changeover facility as mentioned above. Lighting control scheme with auto changeover feature shall be submitted with the offer for review.
