Job Description Of Hostel Warden

University: O.P Jindal Global University Job Title: Hostel Warden Reports to: Assistant Registrar Based at: O.P. Jindal Global University, Sonepat

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

 Responsible for handling student related issues, with good administrative & operational skills.  Have to assure that discipline is maintained in the hostel.  Have to take care that no untoward incidence occurs in the hostel which could harm the image of the college.

 Handling complete hostel responsibilities as a hostel warden,  Ensure smooth functioning of various hostel activities  Ensure that all the rules are followed and discipline is maintained  Promote the existence of a healthy, happy, self contained life among the hostel inmates  Overlook housekeeping, security & administration functions

 overall administration of Hall of Residence taking care of student needs upkeep of property of institute,  implementing code of conduct by students & maintenance of hostel premises

Skills Required for the job

Personality: Self-driven, Results-oriented with a positive outlook Mature, credible, and comfortable in dealing with students. Reliable, tolerant, and determined. Empathic communicator, able to see things from the other person's point of view. Well presented and business-like. Keen for new experience, responsibility and accountability. Able to get on with others and be a teamplayer.

Additional Information:
Graduate from a recognized university with relevant experience as Hostel Warden/House Warden. should possess excellent interpersonal skills and ability for resolutions of administrative problems. Minimum 3 years experience in similar capacity. Fluency in spoken English and an aptitude to groom the students Emoluments: Pay package commensurate with qualifications / experience will be offered.
