Well it depends on which interaction you are talking about. In this essay you will learn about five types of interactions and energy and how I think scientists describe interactions in terms of energy and what it really is.

To start with, I can describe interactions in terms of energy when the two energies interact with the energy source and the object transferees energy to the energy receiver. This should mainly cause all the interactions to occur. For example, all the interactions include being by an object which will let off energy from their energy source.

Also, the real way of knowing how scientists describe interactions in terms of energy mainly is how each interaction can be described by considering which objects provides the energy (source), which object receives the energy (receiver), and how the energy is transferred between the two objects. These interactions are called the Magnetic Interaction, Electric-charge Interaction, Electric-circuit Interaction,

Mechanical Interaction, and Light Interaction which all indeed provide energy and receive energy.

Last but not least, there is the energy. However, scientists often use a different way of describing the same interactions, not in terms of energy, but in terms of the pushes and pulls (which they call forces) that the objects exert on each other. Such as soccer players foot and a ball, there is a contact interaction between the players foot and the ball. Mechanical energy is transferred from the foot to the ball which means the push and the pull is being used. So now, you know how scientists describe interactions in terms of energy and why it depends on which interaction you are talking about because there are 5 types and they al are different but they have one thing in common they all the interactions include being by an object which will let off energy from their energy source.
