RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF THE

MINNESOTANS UNITED FOR ALL FAMILIES COALTION

WHEREAS, Minnesotans will go to the polls on November 6, 2012,

AND WHEREAS, An amendment to constitutionally ban marriage for same-sex couples will be on
the ballot,
AND WHEREAS, the Minnesota Constitution exists, in part, to guarantee equal protection under
the law to all of its citizens,
AND WHEREAS, Minnesotans United for All Families is the official campaign working to defeat this
anti-marriage ballot question,
AND WHEREAS, Personal conversations with our friends and family are crucial to defeating this
amendment,
BE IT RESOLVED that we, _____________________________________ (insert group/org name), support Minnesotans United
for All Families efforts to defeat the anti-marriage amendment on the ballot in 2012 and will have
conversations with our friends, family, and co-workers about why this matters to us.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the aforementioned group/organization will commit to
sponsoring one phone bank and recruiting 20 volunteers to call voters with Minnesotans United for
All Families before April 1:
