An unfinished essay. Hurrah.

John Wayne Gacy was an active member of his community and did a lot of volunteer work. He was well-liked and respected by his friends and colleagues. He would also host parties or go to social events where he would dress as Pogo the Clown to entertain children. He ran a company called PDM Contractors, where he would hire teenage boys to do the work, claiming it let him keep the wages low. It seemed his only downside about Gacy was the stench coming out from under his house, which he claimed to be moisture build-up in the crawlspace of his home. Beneath his friendly-man faade, lay a monster who raped and killed 33 young men in a span of 6 years starting in 1972. The majority of the victims were found under the crawlspace of his home in Illinois. When his family and friends were questioned, they had said there was no way Gacy could have done those things. It shows how perfect his mask was. PDM Contractors was a good way to make money but it was also a great way have access to young men. The stench that usually wafted through his house was the smell of dead bodies he would keep in the house for hours or days before he finally buried them. Gacy would often trick runaways to come to his house, offering them a job. Or he would abduct young men at greyhound stations. Gacy was put to death by lethal injection in1994 for 12 of the murders he committed. Many of his victims were unrecognizable and were given a mass burial.
