NOTIFICATION

This is to notify that the candidates, who obtained Application Forms of POLY-40 for taking direct admission to State Polytechnics for the academic session 2011-2012 on the basis of marks secured in Madhyamik or equivalent examination, shall follow the instructions of this Notification in addition to the guideline provided in the instruction brochure, distributed with the POLY-40 application form. The following unintended errors have been committed in the said POLY-40 application form, which should be filled-up in the manner stated below: a) Under Serial No.12 of the Application Form, space for providing JEXPO Application Form Number was given where only 5 boxes have been provided, while the JEXPO Application Form Number contains 6 digits. The last five digits of the JEXPO Application Form Number should be written in this space. For example, if the JEXPO Application Form Number is 123456, the candidate should write only 23456. b) The space for providing marks obtained in Mathematics for the candidates who passed Madhyamik Examination from West Bengal Board of Secondary Education under Serial No. 14(A) has inadvertently been written as Third Language. The marks obtained in Mathematics should be written in the said space. Inconvenience caused is sincerely regretted.
