Verb
Expresses actions or states of being about the subject.

Noun
Used to name a person, animal, place, thing, or abstract idea.

Pronoun
Can replace a noun or another pronoun.

Adjective
Modifies a noun or pronoun by describing, identifying, or quantifying it.

Adverb
Can modify a verb, adjective, or another adverb by telling how, when, where, or how much.

Preposition
Indicates the temporal, spatial, or logical relationship of its object to the rest of the sentence.

Conjunction
Links words, clauses, or phrases.

Interjection
Word added to a sentence to convey emotion.
