Two one-dimensional ferroelectric chains are considered which have a junction point enabling energy exchange between the chains. The contribution of domain-wall mechanism in the energy transfer process is compared to the contribution due to the mechanism of linear excitations. In FE for T T; the coupling between acoustic phenomena and the so-called ferroelectric soft mode is known to exist.
