The multishooting method for solving -roint boundary value problems is applied to locate highly unstable periodic orbits in molecular systems. Results are presented for ozone. And it is shown that periodic orbits which have previously been associated with the recurrences of the time autocorrelation function in the photodissociation of ozone, originate from saddlenode bifurcations.
