The Office of Civil Defense (OCD) has been mandated by the Republic Act 10121 (PDRRM ACT OF 2010) to organize the National Service Reserve Corps (NSRC) in all communities including schools and universities when there are NSTP graduates. The first draft of the NSRC implementing guidelines and procedures were formulated after the concept was presented during the NSTP Congress held on April 2011 at Palawan State University. In ARRM Region, the FURIGAY COLLEGE has been selected to be the first school-based National Service Reserve Group to serve as a pilot model in the province of Basilan. In this regard, we are sending Rene Mabilog and Vince Martin to coordinate with you and concerned staff on the details of the activation of the National Service Reserve Group for FURIGAY COLLEGE OF ISABELA. Your cooperation on the NSRC organization is highly appreciated. Please do not hesitate to call me for any inquiry on this matter.
