9th September, 2011 THE ZONAL COMMANDER, FEDERAL ROAD SAFETY CORPS, RS5 HEADQUARTERS, BENIN Sir ADVICE

ON BACK-UP ON SYSTEMS AND INVERTER 1. Base on the recently ISO survey carried out in the Zone by Internal System Auditors from RSHQ, Abuja. The following were observed and suggested: 2. That a back-up should be provided for the inverter and most of our systems which would save the system from surge. 3. Base on the above, I advise that there should be a external hard-disk provided as a back-up for all data. 4. Base on complaints by staffs of RS5HQ on the slowness of the internet network, I have observed that the bandwidth allocated to us by the service providers is really small and thus delaying and compromising the efficiency of some of our work, as we find it difficult checking our mails and even taking longer days to download an attachment of as little as 100kb. 5. I humbly suggest that we are given a higher bandwidth as this enhances our work and make us more productive. 6. We also request for a wireless LAN card for our A&HR system. 7. Cost implication for an External HDD and S/N i ii iii DESCRIPTION HDD for BACKUP (ITB) Wireless LAN UPS for inverter (3.5kVA) UNIT 2 1 1 AMOUNT N66,000:00 N6,000:00 N80,000:00 N152,000:00

8. I believe this would help strengthen our network base.
