    LUDEMAN S STATEMENT REGARDING MICHAEL BRODKORB DISHONEST

    (St. Paul, MN) - The statement by Secretary of the Minnesota Senate Cal Ludeman regarding Michael Brodkorbs termination released today is dishonest and factually incorrect. Attorneys for Mr. Brodkorb have been negotiating with Dayle Nolan, attorney for the Minnesota Senate, on the terms of a confidentiality agreement, dates for mediation, and a list of prospective mediators. Mr. Brodkorb agreed to wait until after the close of the regular session of the Minnesota Senate to mediate this dispute. The parties were working on the terms and conditions of a confidentiality agreement, first presented by Ms. Nolan as recently as March 14, 2012. In fact, Ms. Nolan stated in a March 9, 2012 email with regard to the confidentiality agreement, I need to quickly run your proposed changes past my client, but they seem reasonable to me so I don't anticipate there will be any problem." Today's statement by Sec. Ludeman comes as a complete surprise. Mr. Ludeman is either being left out of the discussions regarding the status of this matter or he is being intentionally reckless and dishonest.
